A new sketch and a new challenge at Let's Scrap

Wednesday was a new sketch reveal at Let's Scrap. This week it was a card-sketch, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible to make a layout out of it. If you look in the gallery at Let's Scrap you will see that some of our members even made it into a 2-page layout!

This week QKR Stampede are our sponsor and we in the DT got to choose a digi-stamp for our project. I choose digi17504 Rose Label for this project. I printed it out on cardstock and used it to as background for my photo.

The papers, stamps and embellishments are from different kits from Swirlydoos.

I used stamps to get even more butterflies to the background and let them go over both patterned papers.

 

For my title I choose a Rub-on.

Friday was it time for a new Challenge at Let's Scrap and I have made an inspiration to that. It's Janet who host this challenge and she set up this rule: Layouts to feature photo or photos of the place that makes you happy, the place you just enjoy and love to go to. 
And in addition:
At least one of the embellishments, paper, detail or technique must affirm your happy place, ie book embellie for a library, leaves for a park, etc.
Some doodling.
And journalling saying why that place makes you happy. It would be nice if your journalling is handwritten. You can always do a hidden journal tag if you don't like your handwriting.


I choose two photos from the mountains, taken last year at Easter time. In Norway many people goes to the mountains that time of year to ski, so do we. I love it and especially the quiteness, the white mountains, the blue sky and the skiing!
