And here is the sketch, made by Bev:

Some closeups.

I used two different die-cut sets from Spellbinders to make a layert pointsetta in the lower right corner.

I made a manger scene with a die-cut set from Cottage Cutz and made a cluster wit it and som mor pointsettas.

I stamped my sentiment on a cut out piece and put it on 3D pads for some dimension.

Feeling Sketchy Sketch #248

It's  November and we have a new sketch for you at Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog today.

Here is my inspiration card:

And here is the sketch, made by Bev:

I found a background paper with a circle of flowers and used it instead of a circle of words. Instead of the flowercluster I used a digistamp from Fred She Said, Christmas Pointsetta Lantern.

I used a die from Scrapmagasinet for my sentiment and put it together with my digistamps.

In the middle of the circle I stamped  a verse from a noerwegian christmas carol.

Feeling Sketchy, sketch #247

It's October, and the fall is coloring the trees in such great colors.

At the Feeling Sketchy Challenge blog we have a new sketch up for you to play with.

I've started making my Christmas cards, so here is my take on this month sketch:

And here is the sketch, made by Bev:

I used a set of dies from Spellbinder for my swirls and flowers.

Instead of a swirl under the sentiment I stamped a silhouette stamp with Christmas motive. Here you see the shepherds outside Betlehem.

And my sentiment follow up this. It says "A child is born in Betlehem". It's the first words of a well known norwegian Christmas hymn.

You have until October 31th to join in and play with us.

And here is the sketch made by Bev:

Here is a closeup on the image I used in the centre of the doily and the sentiment, which I put on 3D pads, for some dimension.

I used one pointsetta and some holly leaves instead of the butterflies in the sketch. And put on some halfpearls and some bling.

Feeling Sketchy sketch #229

It's time for a new sketch over at Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog today.

Here is my take on it:

And here is the sketch made by Bev:

Ingen bildebeskrivelse er tilgjengelig.

For this card I found an image I've already stamped and it has been laying around from at least last year in my Christmas bin together with the Christmas papers.
The pattern papers are new from this years Christmas papers from Maja Design.

The poinsetta dies are from Spellbinders and I use them a lot. On this card I used some pattern paper and some cardstock for layering.

In the upper right corner I decided to use a snowflake, it's made with a punch from MS.

For a little bit dimension I put the image on the larger cardstock and on 3D pads.

Why not use this verstile sktech and make some Christmas cards?
The challenge are running until the end of the month.

Feeling Sketche sketch #228

It's November and we have a new sketch up on the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog today.

Here is my take on it:

And here is the sketch made by Bev:

Ingen bildebeskrivelse er tilgjengelig.

Here are some closeups.
First on the image, and on this card I have used a diecut for my image. It¨s a manger scene by Cottage Cutz.

I made this Christmas card almost monochromatic, but I just had to ad some red pointsettas. I think they pop up great on the card.
The sentiment is also a diecut (from Scrapmagasinet).

When I got through my papers looking for something to use for this card I ended up with two different pattern papers and decided to make a card with the other paper too using the same sketch.
So here is a bonus card:

Here I used some more half pearls and another sentiment.

And a close up:

Why not get over to the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog and join in on the fun - make a card based on the sketch.

And here is the sketch, made by Bev:

Bildet kan inneholde: blomst og tekst

Our sponzor this month is:
A Day For Daisies

I've used the image A special gift and colored it with Prisma color pencils.

I used dies from Spellbinders for my embillishing and scattered pointsettas around.

Here you can see how I have folded the card.
