Bryce Canyon

I've made a layout with photos from our visit in Bryce Canyon last year.

We had a lovely walk down to Queen's Garden and to Navajo Trail.

I've used Sketch 4-1-19 from Let's Scrap for this layout.

Monument Valley

We visited Monument Valley in November last year, and I have a lot of photos from our stay. When I saw the last sketch at Let's Scrap, I thoght it would be perfect for some of them.
I struggled finding papers that suited my photos, so I had to go through a lot of cardstocks to find some that where good.

Here is my layout:

I had a patterned paper that had four triangels with text on it. Even though the text wasn't that perfect I just loved the triangels so I cut out those and used them,

I colored my chipboards with four different colors of embossingpowders from Lindy's Stamp Gang. I love these embossingpowders and they are great to mix. I just emboss one color at a time without covering the whole chipboard and the colors mix up great.

The tags are cut out of cardstock and patterned papers.

I also enter this page in Scrapp og skravl, monthly challenge, challenge 1 - use ribbon or lace.

Encinitas - at the Beach

We stayed for three nights at Encinitas when we visited California last year. One day we took a walk and found the Stonesteps down to the beach. We walked back by the beach, getting wet since it was high water.

This layout is based on the sketch 1-5-17 at Lets's Scrap.

Ice skating worship

Last winter we wanted to have a worship outdoors. The local sportsteam has an Ice Skate Festival on the local lake. We asked if we could have a worship in their tent. They said yes, and the first Sunday after the Festival we had the worship.

Since I got these photos from one of the one who attended I have wanted to do something with them. 

When I saw this sketch at Let's Scrap, I thought it would work perfect for these photos.

The papers and most of the embellishments are from the Desember 2016 kit from Swirlydoos.

I used some snowpaint on the metallic snowflakes and put some bells on them.

 I used the same paint with a stensil to make snowflakes around.

Music

Made this double page layout for the LOAD216 on day 3. The theme was "music" and I have used photos from our trip to USA last autumn. We visited Norsk höstfest in Minot and this is some of the music we heard there and some instruments we saw.

Piazza Navona

I have used the sketch 1-15-16 at Let's Scrap to scrap some photos from Rome.

In the middle I used a stencil and Stone effect from Art Anthology.
I used chipboards from Blue Fern Studio, bricks and corners. I treated them with gesso and Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst sprays.

For embellishments I choose som Prima flowers and resins.

I wanted a lot of journaling, both about the piazza and it's fontains. So I used both a rectangle on the wright side and the space in the middle inside the stenceling.

The papers and embellishments are from previous kits from Swirlydoos.

Mount Rushmore

I just couldn't resist to make a page based on the 1-1-16 sketch at Let's Scrap.

I used photos from our vacation last autumn. One of the places we visited was Mount Rushmore. As always we took a lot of photos and I have still a lot from the same place, so I guess it will be one more page from the same visit.

I used the old QK alphabet Finale for my title.

The chipboard pieces from BoBunny goes beautiful together with the papers from Kaiser craft.

I found some old chipboards from Blue Fern Studio in my stash and covered them with embossingpowders from Lindys Stamp Gang in different colors.

A double layout about myself

It's not often that I make layouts about my self, and even more rare that I make a double page all about me.
But today that's what I have done.
It started with a challenge at Scrappeland - make a layout about yourself. Then I wanted to use the sketch 11-1-15 at Let's Scrap. So I decided to combine those.

The result is this layout:

The title says "Filled with joy" and is a quote from a norwegian hymn. 

I have used papers from Blue Fern Studio and have made the flowers from cardstock.

I got to use some eyelets, which I have had for years.

 
My journaling is about some of my thoughts regarding my work as a minister in the Church of Norway, and ends with a Bible quote.

Funchal

Have made this layout to the May 8th National Scrapbooking Special Challenge at Let's Scrap. 

The sketch was this old and good one (I have scrapped it before):

I found some photos from Fnchal, Madeira, which I thought would do well with this sketch and the colors.
