A birthdaycard

Round Robin at Swirlydoos for February was all about cards. I was on the birthdaycard team and had the last week. Following three great ladies I got to lift Manda this time.

I used papers and embellishments from the February kit, and some flowers from my stash.

I used a norwegian stamp, saying Happy Birthday, in the right corner.

I've played with some paint and a stencil.

Card for Round robin March

Third and last week are over for this months Round Robin for cards at Swirlydoos.
I was the last in team 1 and followed Sue. I got to lift her lovely card.

This month we got no less than 5 ! twists and had to follow at least 3 of them:

* Use a stamped or hand written sentiment.
* Use a resist technique
* Use a handmade flower
* Use staples
* Use a bottle-cap

Round Robin card at Swirlydoos

February Round Robin for cards are on at Swirlydoos, and the first cards was up yesterday.
This time the challenge was to make an easel card, use at least three layers and twine/ribbon.
I needed a birthday card last week so I used this to make that. The card was for a man, so I found some Prima papers in browns and used a clock from one of the papers as motive.

The text says "Time flies" in norwegian.

This month I play with the girls at Swirlydoos at the Round Robin Card challenge. I was so lucky to follow Rae and she made this beautiful card:

I choose to make a Christmas card and follow Rae pretty close, so this is what I came up with:

Round Robin Card - October

Over at Swirlydoos the Round Robin Card for October are going on. I was first out this time and the twists are make your own embellishment, use handmade flowers and make something that makes you happy and share with us why!
I made my own resin embellishments with Mod podge mod melts milk glass, coloring with distress paint and viva inka gold.
I made some flowers with a spellbinder die, and colored them on top with viva inka gold.
I used my August kit from Swirlydoos, which have been back and forth over the Atlantic, and finally come to me last week - that makes a girl really happy!

Julekort

Er med på RR Card hos Swirlydoos og fikk lifte et nydelig kort av Jennie denne gangen. Som ekstra twists denne måneden kunne vi rive papir, sy og bruke noe ikke scrapperelatert på kortet. Jeg fikk til alle tre (engelen er en gammel ørepynt).
Siden vi nærmer oss jul valgte jeg å lage et julekort. Har brukt et gammelt og et nytt juleark og noen ark fra oktober-kitet fra Swirlydoos. Morsomt å blande på den måten. Har brukt stempler fra Norsk Stempelblad AS (motivet) og Kort og Godt (teksten) og en TH dies til die-cut-pynten.
