Katthammarsvik

It's time for more inspirations for the double sketch at Stick it Down this month.

Here is my take on the sketch:

This months sketch, made by me:

Here are some closeups.
First of the flower- and butterfliescluster on the left side. Here you can also see some of the treatment of the background. I used stencils with gesso, stamps and mists on the background, after putting on the strip of cardstock to the patterned papers. I used two different patterned papers from the same line from Blue Fern Studio.

The flower in the bottom of the page, with a little piece of ephemera tucked in:

I love journaling about where and what, so here are the journaling about Katthammarsvik, a tiny little old fishing village in Gotland, Sweden. The harbour has also been used to ship out limestone for nearly 300 years. Today it's most of all a summer village, where a lot of tourists stop by to bath and eat local food at the restaurant by the harbor.

The flowercluster in the upper right corner, and also here you can see some of the treatment on the background.

The small flowercluster in the lower right corner.
